L&I Accelerated Approval Process Changed

The Commissioner for the Department of Licenses and Inspections has altered the procedure for performing accelerated reviews. Effective April 1, these applications will no longer be available for accelerated review:
- Amended building permit applications
- Certificate of Occupancy applications
- Preliminary plan reviews
- Residential fire sprinklers
- Signs
- Alterations permit applications
- Antenna replacements and collocations
- Use registration permits
- Plumbing permit applications
- Electrical permit applications
Those applying for an accelerated plan review must have a working permit for construction with no violations.
