The Sustainable Business Network released a report written by May 8 Consulting that presents nine recommendations for helping Philadelphia small businesses to prosper. Taking Care of Business: Improving Philadelphia’s Small Business Climate explores how budget neutral, high-impact changes, including changes to the city’s licenses and permitting, can increase Philadelphia’s poor rates of small business formation and growth.
