A proposed design review board will evaluate the design of major projects and each project’s impact on the public realm, for example traffic congestion, street life, shadows, and wind. The Board will hear from community members and developers and evaluate the assets and negatives of a project. Inevitably design review will touch upon aesthetics but this is not the primary goal.
