Rules Committee Supports Waterfront Zoning

At a public hearing at City Hall, the Committee on Rules supported Bill 090170, creating the Central Delaware Riverfront Overlay District. The overlay district establishes interim zoning, which would be replaced by a detailed master plan in about 12 to 16 months. The proposed regulations establish use, setback, and waterfront access provisions for a seven-mile stretch of waterfront.
