Final open house November 9 – time to weigh in on draft zoning code

ZCC Public Outreach
The ZCC will host a final open house on the draft consolidated code Tuesday, November 9, at 10 AM at the Independence Visitors Center. The open house format was designed to provide opportunity for more focused public discussion on specific topics. The self-guided presentation is organized into four themes: enhancing city and neighborhoods, preserving and enriching the environment, improving connections, and engaging the public. Representatives from Portfolio Associates, the Planning Commission, and the ZCC are available at each station to answer questions and gather feedback. A virtual open house is available online at http://www.zoningcodeopenhouse.com/ for those unable to attend the meeting. Results from all ten open houses will be presented at the November 10 regular meeting of the ZCC.
