New appointments at the Zoning Board of Adjustment

As reported in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Mayor Nutter has appointed Washington Savings Association CEO Martin G. Bednarek to the ZBA, in order to fill the gap left by Chairwoman Susan Jaffe. Jaffe stepped down last month after a long medical leave, as hearings continued to be delayed when the board did not have the necessary quorum in attendance. Lynette Brown-Sow will serve as chair and Carol Tinari as vice chair.
